So I’m in love with a pair of shoes! Sadly though- they aren’t even mine! Recently I was sent a pair of Attipas toddler shoes by Attipas Australia, and I just love them. I got the cute little pink Converse style ones and they work fantastically. My 13 month old isn’t a fan of things on her feet and pulls all her socks off. She isn’t quite walking and we don’t want to put her in shoes that will damage the natural shape of her feet.
At first glance the Attipas shoes remind me of Smurf shoes! They have a large toe area so that they don’t squash the toes like traditional shoes do. They are mostly a sock- with a rubber sole that covers over the toes to protect them. The sole is breathable- with tiny holes, to ensure baby feet aren’t getting too sweaty. They are easy to clean too- you can throw them in the machine (mine look like they are months old after a single trip to the park!)
She is happy to wear these and they stay on much better than socks. They help her propel herself along while she is crawling (and have the added bonus of assisting greatly in her quest to climb every slippery dip she sees!) With the weather cooling down, barefooted babies are needing something on their feet and the Attipas shoe is the perfect solution! They are affordable too- selling for $29.95 for a basic pair.
